One Random Thursday

Just on the phone with him and he said he is coming home in 4 hours. 4 hours? It seems a little bit long, but I am happy to know that he is finally home! Well, on the way home!

I went to my roommate's room and knocked on her door, "do you want to go out?" She was using her laptop on her bed. Our typical lazy day~

I just felt like wanna do something before he came home. At least, not sitting at home and waiting for him to be home! It seem too depressed.

My roommate looked at me and asked, "Huh? Where do you wanna go? What do you wanna do?" "I don't know. Just anywhere. I just wanna go out." I smiled. "Ok ok!" She smiled back.

I ran back to my room and started dressing up. Well, not really like dressing up. Just to get changed and put on a little make-up to look good. Hahaha... When I was waiting for her to get done, I snapped a few shots in my bathrrom.

We ended up going to the mall like always. But this time, we were going for "window shopping" only since I've been so broke lately. Haha.

But we are girls! How could we resist of shopping where there is some good deal out there? I ended up buying a white hand bag that only cost $4.99! It is cute! Well, cute on me. ;) I will post it up next time since I forgot to take the picture of it.

After shopping, we went to Starbuck to enjoy some coffee in this lovely afternoon. The weather was so nice, I can't help to just continue snapping few more pictures while I was sitting outside the store enjoying my grande caramel frappuccino! My roommate didn't eat brunch, so she went to next door to buy sandwich and we shared the chips that she bought. It was very good.

Le
ft to right: 1. King and Queen tower, look at their different crowns. 2. We were under the sun bath. 3. Japanehone was spicy but good! 4. My favorite caramel frappuccino. 5. The blue sky indicates the superb weather. 6.My roommate's sandwich. 7. Chips!

The leaves are falling, some are changing the colors! How could you not to fall in love with the weather? They always say that I am like a tourist because I take pictures everywhere I go. Oh well, I don't mind to be a tourist, I just wanna capture the moment that I live on. I am loving my life, that's all! =)

We went home after we finished our coffee. The weather was getting cold actually especially I went out without bringing my sweater or jacket. I felt cold but hate to leave such a nice view in this lovely afternoon! But I had to go home. He was coming home! I wanted to be home when he first stepped in!

He came in around 6 o'clock with my new car that his parents gave us! It's going to be mine because he already has his own car! It will be so much convenient for me to travel around now! Finally, I has a car! His dad told us to take good care of the car when he went to pick up the car back in his hometown. I will I will. You don't have to remind me about that. I'm really good at taking care of everything that is belonging to me, including his son! Haha

And yes, the oysters were finally here too! We couldn't wait but rush to his sister's house that is 45 minutes drive from our home. I drove my new car, Toyota Highlander. Now I finally realized how nice his car is compare to this Toyota. He was right, his car was really smooth! Oh well, not that this car is bad, just he has a better car, that's all! It's better than none, right?
We went to his sister's house. His younger sister was still working, but his youngest sister was already cooking in the kitchen. She was cooking the congee (some people call it "rice soup"). No kidding, the rice soup really like soup! I was trying very hard to scope the rice... There were a lot of duck meats, rice? Very little!!! I laughed! How were we going to get full?

Two big case of oysters, weighted 130 lbs, his dad took 50 lbs out for himself!! Hahaha... I was wondering if we could finish them all. No surprise. It was all gone in the end of the night! Impressive, right?!

He called his parents to tell them that he was home safely. Then he passed the phone to me. I had learned couple Vietnamese words to say "Thank you" to them. In Vietnamese, it's called "Kam-Ng", like Mandarin "Gan-3 En-1". So it was not very difficult for me to remember, but the accent is difficult. Always have to drag the last word. It sounds funny to me!

They started grilling the oysters, and some of them like to eat it raw. I started taking the pictures, and everybody was looking at me like I'm a weirdo again. OK OK! I'm a tourist! I just took a few quick snap and put my camera back to my new hand bag. I will just focus on eating then

With everybody's efforts, the nice looking oysters were all gone in everybody's stomach. I never seen so many oysters in front of me! The oysters are so big too! I was seriously in the heaven when it was in my mouth!! Yum!! Next time I am going to buy them for myself and my own party!!! Hahaha... Chinese New Year, maybe? Do you want some?

快乐,很简单

知足就长乐!
