My final exams are coming up, and teachers are pushing the deadlines like crazy! Being as a student, what you can do is just to catch up what you have left behind. I become so grumpy and emotional although sometimes I thought putting a smile in the beginning of the day would help to make me feel better.
It had came to the end of my training at my new job. Today was the first day I was working on the floor by myself, independently! I was proud of myself. No mistakes were made, but still I have to learn to estimate the time when the food could be ready to be cooked and to be served so that I could be a better server. A professional server, I always jokes with my friends.
Kelly was sent home this morning because her shirt didn't meet the standard of the company. Andres was sent home too because his shirt was dirty, got some yellow stains on it. I got a little nervous knowing they actually sent people home for certain rules or standards. I looked at myself, thinking if I had missing something or forgot something. Name tag? Check. Apron? Check. Brown book? Check... Hmmm... I have to be careful. I don't want to be sent home while I need to make money!
Have I ever say that Brent, my trainer was the guy whom Somnang was going to introduce me to become my date when I broke up with Tony? He is Caucasian, young, and he is quite good looking. I showed Kar Hui his picture, Kar Hui said he has the Beckam look. Guess who am I talking about from below picture. :)
During the last few days of the training, I sometimes thought about the idea and smiled. "What would it be if my roommate did introduce him before I met my husband?" He seems very nice, very friendly, very patient. And he is white. I always thought if I have a baby who is mix of Asian and White would be very adorable! But he said he was only nice when he was being a trainer, he would throw his temper while he works on the floor too! I guess everybody has their bad sides. You won't know it until you know somebody longer!Sorry honey, I DO love you. Just sometimes, you know women can't resist of thinking of "what if" questions. It is a tempted thought. It is wild and adventurous! But it was also just a daydream for me. I know in the end of the day, you are my husband and you are the one who is besides me when I need helps the most. That's why I fell in love with you! Hehe.
Nina finally gave birth to a baby boy two nights ago (Nov 19) - James Junior Tran, nick name JT. It's funny how people around me had named their baby after the husband! Tina's baby is Tony Justin Yieh (TJ), while the daddy's name is Tony. Nina's husband is James, of course! These are two babies that I knew who were just born this year! And look. their names are so alike! JT and TJ! Hahaa... I told Cu, our baby's name has to be creative! Please don't take over his name! It's weird! Cu responded to me, "hell no! I am going to name my baby in a creative way...!" We'll see. Even he doesn't, I will try my best to prevent it from happening! Hahaha...
