After the interview and orientation, it finally came to the day of training. I was anxiously waiting for it, just because I didn't know what to expect. I believe that I will be a good employee if it is a good company that treat me well, but I am not sure how are the people over there and how will I like the environment.
I woke up at 7:22am even before my alarm went off. No, I wasn't worried, I just felt uncomfortable and felt like vomiting. I took the pregnant test and the result was negative. I was relieved but I couldn't go back to sleep.
Olive Garden was just less than 5 minutes walk from home. I went online, looking for some friends to chat. I made Milo while I was chatting with my friend who was getting married in February during Chinese New Year. I was telling her about how I finally felt like I was not ready to be pregnant after what happened in this two weeks. I needed to work and save more money for our future, especially to provide the BEST for our baby.
I finished the chat at 8:55am. I took my car key and drove so that I won't be late. I got to the door at 8:58am and another new girl had not come yet. Brent was our trainer, I met him through my roommate before. We were not strangers but we hardly talked even we met. But this time, I tried to make a conversation with him since we were going to be co-workers.
We started the training when another new girl arrived. It was a very long day. Brent showed us all the basic stuffs that we needed to do as an employee, I was hungry when it was about 1pm. Finally we waited until the time Brent could let us to do some food tasting so that we could learn more about the food. Brent ordered some appetizers and a dessert. They were really good, but there were too much bread dishes. Perhaps Brent could separate the bread dish in different days, this is a bit too much! But I guess we didn't have a lot of choice, the point is not to fill us up, but to teach us about the menu. Hehe...
Then we watched some DVD about the Darden Company's policies. After we finished all the training for session one, Brent let our Culinary Manager, Jose to test us what we had learned today. Jose seemed satisfied with our performances. He said I was excited and Kelly looked a little tired. A little? After such a long day of sitting and listening, who wouldn't be tired? I was excited because it was getting to the end of the training. Haha...
But I did get a little dizzy before the training ended. My migraine hit me again and I felt so weak in the stomach. I went to home and feeling grumpy. I was thinking about why is this happening to me? WHY? Then, I finally came to the conclusion: IT IS MY PERIOD!! My period is coming! How could I forget that this is the symptoms of my period!! That I used to take Midol everytime when my period is coming because of all these uncomfortable feeling!! Geesh!!!!
I am so irritating! Still very moody and emotional! Even Cu said that he agreed that it was my period!! Is it almost come? Hopefully. I can't stand this anymore!!
