Fixing on My Baby #3

I have three babies in my current life: #1: My husband, #2: My pet, and #3: My Toyota Highlander. And today, I just spent a big buck on my baby #3 on its condition.

Just when I thought that I started to save a lot of money, my baby must hear it and decide that I should spend all my hard-earned money on itself!

I thought it was only going to be an oil changed. And here I was, sending my baby to Goodyear, and went to have lunch with Cu since he was off today. The man at Goodyear told me that it would only take one hour to get the oil changed. So just when we were having lunch, the guy called me again and telling me all the problems my baby had......

I was silent for a while, and then passed the phone to Cu to let him decide. And when I heard he said, "OK, we'll do it, how long does it take?", my heart dropped. My MONEY!!!!! No No No!!! My face must look really sad when I heard that, because Cu smooched on my hands and told me, "It's ok, we really have to do this, the belt is almost worn out, and if we do it later, it might cost us even more money when it affects the engine." I had nothing to say, just feel so sad that why my baby couldn't wait any longer? I have some plan with this money that I have saved up. Just one week late could help, but why now?!

I joked with Cu that at least this happens when we have money, it's like the cars know how much the owners could do for them and they will take the chance to "fix up" themselves. Oh well, Toyota Highlander is my baby too. I shouldn't be selfish. I give whatever I have because it takes me everywhere I wanna go!
