My new job provides employee meals. So I told Cu that he didn't have to wait for me to have dinner, just eat whatever he wanted because I might just cook instant noodle for myself.
Reason? First, I didn't know if I was going to eat at work or not. Secondly, we really have to save money to pay the income tax refund.
But I ended up eating at work, they cooked fried rice and my manager made some Thai salad, it was very refreshing and good. But I didn't eat a lot, I guess I was still saving some room for my food at home... or not.
Either way, I told Cu that he did not have to worry about my dinner. I did not want him to wait for me for dinner 'cause he would get home at least one hour before me.
But when I got home, he actually came out from the computer room and showed me his disappointed face, saying that he did a lot to get some ingredients prepared for my instant noodle. I followed him to our kitchen and saw some cooked shrimps and quail eggs, he even peeled all the shells for me! I was truly surprised! Because of all his hard-work, I guess it would be better for me to eat some instant noodle to show my appreciation. So I cooked an instant clear noodle soup that won't be too much to be my dinner, then I put the rest of the ingredients on top of my clear noodle, they tasted really good!!
Since there were still some of the ingredients left, I put all of them with the rice that Cu cooked yesterday, so that I can bring them to work tomorrow!
Yes! Cu cooked for me last night too! He grilled some sausages and deep fried some shrimps for me. We just came back from Savannah where we got all the free, fresh shrimps from his parents! I love the shrimps so much. Fresh shrimps are really the best and nothing can compare with them!
Cu has been cooking a lot lately... since the Valentine's day. He seems to be more considerate about being a husband to me. I am happy but can't stop to wonder how long will this last?
Thanks for cooking for me again, baby! It was nice to have dinner ready when coming back from work. It was a very sweet gesture that I really appreciate it from you.
