Weekly Reflection 20

It has been hard for me to go online to update my blog today. But I forced myself to update it anyway, have too much info to digest.

1.Marriage: Cu's best friend's ex-gf suddenly chatted with me thru facebook. I got shocked. She asked, "Are you and Cuong are still madly in love". I said "Yep, we are happy". We chatted for a long time, I knew she still missed John and still cared for him. It sucks that they broke up and John already has a new gf right after they broke up. I thought they had settled down for each other and going to be married soon. I guess love is not a guarantee way to marriage. Somebody got hurt and somebody is madly in love.

2. Health: Health check-up is moving toward July. I found a health care program for Nini, it costs $99 to enroll, and $21 monthly pay to keep it activated. Cu said it's too much. I really want to get it so Nini can get health care as much as she could. She is getting old. :(

3. House: Cu said we are not going to have children until we get our house. How long do I have to wait? Although I really agree with his decision, I also hope to have children soon.

4. Financial: I am going to send money home from this month. Can't decide the amount yet, but must start already so that my parents can retire soon. I bought a new grill today, and grill steak and some veggies. The grill is so good and cheap (only $52 + Tax), got 2 years guarantee too. Cu was not happy when he heard that, but he was happy when he saw the grill bc it's really a nice size of grill.

5. Education: Dr. Hayslette is finally back tomorrow. I guess I will receive an email from her this week. Gosh, I am getting so nervous.

6. Work/Career: I am having hard time to fill up the request form for my schedule at restaurant. I need to pick a good schedule to work to earn the best money at both places. Is it possible?

7. Home (Malaysia): Finally called home and talked to my 3rd aunt. My aunt said our home is so nice and it feels like a new home. My parents are happy but definitely not happy when I told them that my going-home-date is still not confirmed. Opps!!

8. Passport: I went online today to check what did I need to renew my passport without going home. Deep inside, I know it's going to be hard for me to go home if my school starts in July. There is no holidays in November!! But Somnang told me dun be stressed over about it. Coz I dun need passport for processing my PR status. So, should I just let it expired then if I dun go home?

9. My Brother's Wedding: 70% would be reduced to 50% now if school starts for me. Gosh!!!

10. Future: I am having a big plan to decorate my home with curtains and dining table. Since we are renewing our lease, and going to stay here for another year, I wanna make this apartment to really feel like HOME SWEET HOME.
