Weekly Reflection 18

Week 18. This has been going for a long way, who know I can keep this up for this long?

1. Marriage: I was chatting with my friend last night, talking about our marriage life. She quit her previous job and looking for a new job in Singapore. She just got married recently and told me that her husband bought her iron so that her body can absorb more nutrients to be ready to be pregnant because she is very skinny and might not be able to bear any children. She asked why wouldn't I be ready to be pregnant, she thinks I have a perfect body for nurturing a baby, "why wait?", she asked. I know it's hard to believe, but Cu and I still not ready to be parents yet. We might be good parents for Nini, but Nini is a dog, it's different. To have a baby, you have to have a lot more to ready. Environment, financial, and most importantly TIME. At this period of time, TIME is what we don't have the most.

2. Health: I am more aware of my health, but still been occupied with my jobs. I know I have been saying this. But I really have no time to do anything since I have two jobs. I am just tired whenever I get home, and just want to rest without doing anything. I get lazier nowadays...

3. House: So we are going to renew our lease for one year. At the same time, Cu will plan to buy a house in the end of this year. Can we make it? We still have plan to go back home...

4. Financial: I told Cu to hold the thought of buying ipad, instead to save it for going back home. He said it's not expansive, he can afford to buy me the ipad and still can save enough money for going home. Lately, he keeps asking me how much do we need if we go home. And how much money he should give mom and dad when he met them. I told him he doesn't have to worry about that. My parents would be happy to just see us. But I know he has his own little plan to make my parents to love him. So I have no worry about that. It will be his first meeting with his in-laws, so it's important for him to make that first impression RIGHT.

5. Education: I am going to write my petition tonight and send it to Dr. Hayslette. Hopefully I can start school in July. I am so excited.

6. Work/Career: So I am chosen to be trained to be a CT at Olive Garden next month. I appreciate the recognition from all managers, so I have to hold the thought of quitting my job right now. I am still struggling with my schedules in both places. I need a complete two days off a week to get my life straight.

7. Home (Malaysia): My house in Malaysia should be done renovation this week. I bet my parents are very happy about the results. I can't wait to see the photos that my brother is going to send me. I can't wait to go home too!!

8. Passport: OK. This is overdue, and I ask for a day off on Wednesday. Definitely going to make the call on Wednesday!!

9. My Brother's Wedding: It looks like most likely we are going home! How exciting right? Wait, just wait. I still need to confirm everything before I announce it!

10. Future: I can't decide if what am I going to do in this end of year. It seems like I have a lot going on. If I am going back to school, then I won't have any holidays in November for my brother's wedding. School or home? This is hard!!!!!!!!
